Crystals & Water
Cleansing crystals with water is a great way to cleanse, recharge and clean (remove dust).
However, not all crystals can be submerged or touched by water. Some crystals will break apart, dissolve, loose their shine & some will even release toxins.
Here is a list of some of the common crystals which you should not put in water:
- Selenite
- Labradorite
- Hematite
- Kyanite
- Fluorite
- All Calcites
- Hematite
- Pyrite
- Malachite
- Turquoise
- Lapis Lazuli
- Aquamarine
- Lepidolite
- Chrysocolla
So basically, anything ending in 'ite' should avoid going near water.
This is just a short list of which crystals should not get wet, so please check prior to submerging or cleaning any type of crystal.
